PROFILE
G.H. Hovagimyan is an experimental artist and foundational figure in net.art and the digital avant-garde. His work spans conceptual art, performance, video, internet art, interactive installation, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, text, sound, and social practice. Since the early 1990s, he has been recognized as one of the first artists in New York to work with the internet as an artistic medium, participating in early online art communities including The Thing, ArtNetWeb, and Rhizome.
